-Design Manifesto-
10/23/23
Design for...
-comfort, ease, and function first
-the body
-lived experience
-the moment
-movement patterns
-the whole process. don’t design in a way that makes ensuing steps harder than necessary.
From...
-An embodied state. This means connection and attunement with your senses. drop from thinking mind into feeling body.
Making Precepts: (a general rule intended to help regulate behavior or thought)
-pay attention to tension in your mind-body state, it’s telling you something
-use familiar languages (verbal, visual, technical, etc), you’ll know when to expand into new territory/languages
-no forcing
-allow space, not knowing
-notice ways to allow the creative process to show through. The act of making holds its own visual language
